PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — Stephen Scott Clark, 62, from Punta Gorda, Florida, died August 25, 2016, in an automobile accident near Kearney, Nebraska.

Following retirement, he moved to Punta Gorda, Florida, and enjoyed working part-time as a substitute teacher with the Charlotte County Public School system.
Scott enjoyed golfing, traveling, reading, kayaking, camping, fishing, euchre and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid Michigan State Spartan sports aficionado, Detroit Tigers fan, and general sports nut. He was a good and true friend to many.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Toby; beloved cousin Chuck; special aunt and uncle Frances and Gene Runyon; and niece Amy Nemec.
In addition to his sister, Carol Sawyer Clark of Virginia Beach, Virginia, he is survived by his wife of nearly 37 years, Katy, who was the love of his life.
