FORT WAYNE - Timothy Allen Voirol, 76, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and formerly of Spencerville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday evening, Sept. 16, 2025, at Bethlehem Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fort Wayne.
He was born on Nov. 1, 1948, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, son of the late Arthur E. and A. Maxine (Emenhiser) Voirol.
Tim honorably served his country during the Vietnam Conflict in the United States Army, and he was stationed in Berlin, Germany.
He was a member of the American Legion #409 in Leo, Indiana.
Tim retired from Steel Dynamics in Butler, Indiana.
He loved spending time hunting and fishing. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. One of his favorite pastimes was giving his grandchildren a hard time.
Tim is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Jason) Allee, of Rockville, Indiana; daughter, Melissa (Ray) Gage, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Cody (Deepti) Gage, Luke Gage, Lydia Gage, Raymond J. (Heather) Gage, Shaunee Gage, Hunter (Elizabeth) Allee and Rebecca Allee; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Duane (Nancy) Voirol, of Auburn, Indiana, and Terry Voirol, of Hamilton, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis Voirol and Stanley Voirol; and a sister, Nadine Voirol.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville, Indiana, with Life Celebrant Molly Farthing.
Burial will take place at a later date at Scipio Cemetery in Harlan, Indiana.
The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville, Indiana, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Preferred memorials may be given to Woodburn Christian Children's Home.
