Adelpha Kretzer Obituary

Adelpha May Kretzer 52, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 8, 2025 in St. Joseph. She was born September 10, 1972 in St. Joseph, daughter of the late Pamela and Roy Johnson. She worked as a convenience store cashier. She was always right; you could never say anything otherwise. Adelpha loved to cook, play Bingo, gamble with her lottery tickets, but above all she lived for spending time with her grandchildren. Adelpha was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Bryan Lee Johnson. Survivors include: her husband, John Kretzer of St. Joseph, MO, daughters, Courtney Kretzer and Alicia Kretzer, sons, John (Tabitha) Kretzer of St. Joseph, MO and Blake Kretzer, brother, Shane Johnson of St. Joseph, MO, grandchildren, Malakia, Makiah, MaeLyn, Andee, Ayden, Kayne, Keaton, Trevon, Thadius, Traydon, and Takoda, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Kretzer has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. There are no scheduled services at this time.
