Donald Dean "Don" Salsbury

Donald Dean Salsbury 1948-2025 Bolckow, Missouri…..Donald Dean Salsbury of Bolckow, Missouri, passed away July 31, 2025 at his home. Don was born October 17, 1948 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the son of Ivan A. and Virginia J. (Townsend) Salsbury. He graduated from Miami Yoder High School. Don lived in the Rush, Colorado area until moving to Missouri in April of 1974. On December 4, 1969, he married Louise McGaugh, who survives of the home. They had three children, Alethea (Lea) & (Darren) Dzurick of Fulton, Missouri, Rebekah Salsbury of McFall, Missouri, and David W. (Jammie) Salsbury of Bunceton, Missouri. Don worked construction most of his life, building and remodeling houses. He retired from carpentry and continued working at Kawasaki until contracting cancer in December of 2021. Don enjoyed junking and attending auctions, even attending auctioneers school in the late 1980s. He also enjoyed doing many things with his family. Besides his parents, Don was preceded in death by a sister Ginger Lea Salsbury Straub. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Ivan E. (Cathy) Salsbury of Bolckow, Missouri; sister, Patricia Salsbury, King City, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and many friends. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville, Missouri with burial following at Mt. Zion Cemetery, McFall, Missouri.
