Gregory Hahn Leighton

Gregory Hahn Leighton 75, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 in St. Joseph. He was born May 11, 1950 in Omaha, NE, son of the late Doris and Robert Leighton. He worked as a Farmer and Pilot. Gregory loved planes and flying, he attended flight school in Clarinda, IA, where he also taught as well. You could always find him cooking or baking. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: Bonnie Cox of the home, brother, Rodney (Connie) Leighton of Woodbine, IA, sister, Susan (Patrick) Larson of Omaha, NE, cousin, Mike (Kathy) Freeman of Villisca, IA, son, Scott Leighton of Beaufort, SC, and several nieces and cousins. Gregory was loved by everyone and will be missed by many. Mr. Leighton has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. There are no scheduled services at this time.
