Kathleen Whitham Obituary

Kathleen Ann Whitham 73, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in a St. Joseph, MO hospital. She was born September 16, 1951 in Forest City, Missouri. She graduated from South Holt High School, and worked as a childcare giver. She enjoyed shopping, decorating, cooking, gardening, dancing at Eagles Lodge, and most of all spending time with her granddaughter, and their kids who were her world. Kathy was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Whitham, and brother Mike Book. She is survived by her best friend for life, Rita (Elton) Harris, daughter, Angie Whitham, grandchildren, Kelci (Chase) Simpson and Brodie Smock, and great grandchildren, Lincoln and Waylon Simpson, and Silas Smock, three brothers, and three half sisters. The family will receive friends from 5- 6:00 pm on Thursday with a Memorial Service following Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 6:00 pm at the Rupp Funeral Home, Pastor Jim Barnett Officiating.
