Marjorie Joanne "Margie" Kendall

Marjorie "Margie" Joanne Kendall 77, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 in a Savannah health care center. She was born October 20, 1947 in St. Joseph, Missouri, daughter of the late Marjorie & Westley Chancey. She graduated from Lafayette High School, and worked at Sisters Hospital, Heartland Regional Medical Center, and retired from Walmart after 20 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Margie was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie J. Gilmore, father, Westley L. Chancey, brothers, Don and Steve Chancey, a grandson, Chad Kendall, and daughter in law, Tammy Kendall. She is survived by three sons, Mike (Michelle) Kendall, Savannah, MO, Tom Kendall, St. Joseph, MO, and Chris (Heather) Kendall of Savannah, MO, brother, Mike (Holly) Chancey, and a sister, Linda (Wayne) Stevens, grandchildren; Lindsey (Travis) McCulloch, Kyler Kendall (Olivia Barbosa) fiancée, Maggie (Jordan) Johnson, and Madison Kendall, step grandchildren: Zachary (Ellyssa) Treece and Jeremiah (Felisha) Treece, great grandchildren: Karly, Lillian, Etta, and baby Carson McCulloch (on the way), and Nora and Jasper Treece. The family will receive friends and food will be served from 5:00 - 9:00 on Friday, February 21st for a Celebration of Life at the Preferred Community Center, 14375 Highway 71 Savannah, MO.
