Dad,

Thank you for being a wonderful father to us kids! I know you loved us unconditionally and I will strive to do the same with my family. I will miss our fishing trips and the laughter we shared. I am happy that you are in no more pain and at peace with your loved ones in Heaven.

I know that you will always be with us and watching from Heaven, and even though your body has left this world , your spirit will always be with us during all of the good and bad times that life brings.

I love you and will miss you so much.

Your son,

Brian

Hey buddy you were one of a kind. I'm so sad to here you're not here anymore. We went through a lot together. I was so happy that you found somebody to be happy with and enjoy retirement with the last years of your life. Our fishing trips and expeditions I'll never forget buddy! I hope that you rest in peace I'll be thinking about you every time I'm aar at a secret pond casting a rod or doing something silly. You've always been a stubborn ole tight wad. .
But one of a kind. One of THE best. Love you pard,.. and you will be dearly missed.
My condolences to all the family. I pray for you all in this time of sorrow.
Take care,
Darcel Smith

Mike was one of the wittiest people I have known, as was his father Jack. As Mike's cousin, once removed, (Jack was actually our cousin), my siblings and I knew Mike as a youngster and then I was fortunate enough to get reacquainted with Mike again recently, with the added benefit of meeting Shirley. My deepest condolences go out to Shirley, his children and grandchildren. May you all find peace and solace in fond memories of Mike.

Mike, my brother Jeff and I were very close growing up. Mike was our first cousin, son of my beloved Auntie Frances. Michael was really a second brother to me. His tender heart, deep love of family, joy in the simple pleasures of life, love of nature, ability to find humor in most anything, his sweet chuckle all made him a delight to be around. While I’m grieving his loss, I’m deeply grateful that his health challenges have ended and that he’s now in the loving arms of our Father in heaven. I feel sure that Auntie Frances, Uncle Jack, Aunt Kathryn, Uncle Noel and so many others are enfolding him in a huge, collective hug. I love you, Mike. Always have. Always will. Kathy
