On Sunday, February 2, 2025, Norma Belle Hughes passed away to meet her Lord.
She was born on August 15, 1927, in Forest City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Harry E. McFarland and Lucy Alice (Reynolds) McFarland. She had a brother, Edward McFarland.
Norma married Calvin C. Hughes on December 28, 1943. They were together until his passing in 1983. The couple had four children, Patsy Archambault, Linda Mallory, Calvin LeRoy Hughes and Cheryl Sue Segura. Norma was the grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She and Calvin lived in St. Joseph, Missouri and they moved to Denver, Colorado in 1960. She lived in Denver until her passing.
Norma will be buried in Highland Cemetery in Oregon, Missouri alongside of her beloved husband Calvin.
