Robert Lee Brushwood

Robert "Bob" Lee Brushwood 91, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 in St. Joseph, MO. He was born December 29, 1932 in St. Joseph, MO, son of the late Annie and William Brushwood. He was the owner operator of B&B Machine Shop, and he was a talented inventor. He also enjoyed performing in his Country Music Band. Bob is survived by daughters, Shirley Brushwood and Annette Ramsey of Saint Joseph, MO, grandchildren, Gary Brushwood Jr., Andy Acton, Randy Acton, Marcy Huning, and Donnie Stone, seven great grandchildren total, 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as several other nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Gary Brushwood Sr., and grandson Toby Stone. He also had six brothers, Minor, Arley Raymond, Franklin, Cecil, Chesley, and Wallace Brushwood, three half brothers; Emmett, Floyd, and Paul Auxier, and five sisters: Sylvia Brushwood, Nellie Angold, Eleanor Blazinski, Annabelle Hanway, and June Brock. Family to receive friends from 1-2 pm Tuesday, with funeral services starting at 2:00 Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at the Rupp Funeral Home, the interment will be at the Frazier Cemetery, Frazier, MO.
