Rusty Wayne Van 38, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024. He was born November 21, 1985 in Fairfax, Missouri, son of the late Rose & Ricky Van. He worked at Snorkel, Triumph Foods, and Rite Pac. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and music. Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, and maternal grandfather, Dale, and his aunts Ruby and Laura. He is survived by Erica, and their children: Lexi Parker, Jaidynn Swope, Revon Van, and Rylah Van, sister, Zelma, brothers, Ricky, Robby, and Duane, and maternal grandmother, Ruby Schramm, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, as well as his many friends. Rusty was a very loving and caring person and will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Monday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorial services following Monday, October 7, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Rupp Funeral Home. He will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.
