Beverly Van, 71, of North Brunswick, NJ died February 9, 2026. Viewing Only will be held at Anderson Funeral Service, New Brunswick on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Beverly Van (Schenck) was born on November 4, 1954, in New Brunswick, NJ to Phoebe Ann and Richard Schenck Sr. She was raised in Jamesburg NJ and was educated in the Monroe/Jamesburg school system. She was known for her feistiness and her big smile. She departed this life at home on February 9, 2026.

"Bae" or "Beaver" as she was affectionately known, would give you the world, after you bend on a knee with a few pretty pleases. She was the "fun" aunt and dedicated mother to Jennelle, and devoted nana to Demetria and Aleks. She loved coffee ice cream and was an avid watcher of crime shows. She also loved Denzel Washington and Indris Elba calling them good looking men, when they would be on TV.

Beverly worked in several warehouses throughout her life and in 2014 she retired from WB Mason.

Beverly is preceded in death by her Parents Phoebe Ann and Richard, her siblings Grace, Richard, Phillip, Victoria and Robert; husband Harvey Van; nephew Halime Jackson;

Beverly leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Jennelle Humbert (Jonathan); 2 grandchildren, Demetria and Aleksander; 4 sisters, Barbara Walls of Freehold NJ, Brenda Wilcox of Browns Mill, NJ, Rachel Davis (Ben) of Hamilton NJ, Thelma Schenck of North Brunswick NJ and 1 brother, Andrew Schenck of Florida; 21 nieces and nephews, Yvette Randolph, Monique Schenck, Ebony Bailey Marquez, Jermele Wilcox, Syreeta and Zaire Bailey, Khamisi Jackson, Shawn, Shawn Schenck, Shavonne Davis, Emmanuel Walls, Aqueelah Davis, Rashida Dujue-Jackson, Tiffany Jackson, Fallon Gordon, Tara Shenck, Daarina Davis, Rachel Briggs, Shadeed Davis, Brittney Schenck, Yaminah Bunn, Jaquan Owens, Arielle Schenck, Phoebe Bunn and Jibri Owens; 2 aunts, Victoria Gordon and Rachel Montague and host of cousins, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
