Sheila Forder Obituary

Sheila Ann Forder 97, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025 in Saint Joseph, MO. She was born February 13, 1928 in Washington, DC, daughter of the late Mary and Floyd Wallace. She graduated from Prince George's County, Maryland Schools in 1941. Sheila married Gordon Forder on April 12, 1946 in Washington, D.C. She worked for the U.S. Government Department of Labor, and the Pentagon as a Secretary. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church - Kansas City. Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gordon B Forder, sons, Gordon C. Forder, David Forder, brothers, Floyd, Danny, Jack, and David Wallace, and a sister, Harriett Seibers. Survivors include: daughters, Sharon (Steve) Krawchuk of Thorold, ON, Mary (Terry) Holt of St. Joseph, MO, son, Stephen (Susan) Forder of AZ, brother, Joe (Candy) Wallace of Brooksville, FL, 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 10:00 am, Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Rupp Funeral Home, Father Stephen Hanson officiating. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
