Timothy Fenton Obituary

Timothy F. "Tim" Fenton, 67, passed away at his Big Lake, MO home on Monday, September 15, 2025. Tim was born in Kansas City, MO on Dec. 12, 1957 to Rex F. and Darlene E. (Daniels) Fenton. He grew up in Gladstone, MO. After high school he attended Maple Woods College. In 2009 he married Kathleen Kay "Kathy" Miller. Tim was employed by the railroad for eight years as a yard and car maintenance worker. He also owned and operated Fenton Trucking. In his spare time he liked to hunt, fish, and collect antiques. He was an avid Chiefs fan, and also enjoyed old cars. Tim attended the Big Lake Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents, and brother-in-law, Gene Herron. Survivors include his wife, Kathy, of the home; sons, Tyler (Alexandra) Fenton of Tulsa, OK, Kyle (Jacey) Fenton of Savannah, MO, and Michael (Michaela) Miller of Omaha, NE; daughter, Nicole (Joe) Grimes of Dawson, NE; brothers, David (Kristen) Fenton of Kansas City, MO and Daniel Fenton of Kearney, MO; sisters, Rexanne (David) Benning and Cindy Herron, all of Coffeyville, KS; 11 grandchildren, Braelynn, Bristol, Jayden, Madeline, Reigner, Cody, Shane, Kaitlyn, Ava, and Carter; numerous nieces and nephews; and his favorite companion, "Buster." Services: Saturday, October 4, 2025, 10:30 am, Big Lake Baptist Church, where the family will greet friends beginning at 9:30 am. Memorials may be directed to the Big Lake Baptist Church.
