William Worl Obituary

William Marvin Worl, 85, of Kansas City, MO passed away Friday, June 20, 2025 at Northcare Hospice House. Marvin was born December 13, 1939 in Craig, MO to Herbert & Emma Cleo Worl. On July 19, 1973 he married Beverly Hamilton. He is survived by his wife, brother Billy Worl (B.J.) grand-daughter MacKenzie (Nathan) Anderson, brother-in-law Gary Hamilton, step-son Rick McAlister(Debbie), step-grandchildren Jason McAlister (Stacy-Cummings), Josh McAlister (Marinelle), Sarah (Eric) Page, great-grandchildren Jessica, Katelyn, Jamie, Jasmine, Summer, Hunter, Ava Grace, Jonah, Elysia, Cali, great –great grandchild Jaiden, nephew Jim Block (Bonnie), Wesley (Corrine) Stogdill, niece Denice Misenger. Marvin joined the Navy in 1956 and did his tour of duty on the aircraft carrier USS Bennington. He began his career at Power House's in KC area, later working at Colgate-Palmolive where he retired in 1992. They moved to their farms in north Missouri raising registered Black Angus cattle. In 2004 they sold and moved to Mission, Texas where they lived until 2021 then returning to Kansas City for health reasons. He enjoyed traveling, playing pool and cards, watching old western movies and country music. His dog "Jake" was his joy. He was a Catholic and belonged to Lady Guadalupe Church in Mission, Texas.
