Private Graveside services for Greg Creamer age 71 of Wayne will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne. He passed away Monday March 31, 2025, at his home in Wayne. Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne. No Visitation Arrangements with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne Memorials First United Methodist Church in Wayne or Greenwood Cemetery Association.
Gregory Howard Creamer was born December 14, 1953, in Wayne to Duane and Verna Mae (Straight) Creamer. He lived on the family farm northeast of Concord until 1963 and then the family moved to a farm west of Wayne. Greg helped out with the row crop farming and cattle feeding, including an award winning pen of 5 Beef Cattle for the 4-H Club. Greg graduated from Wayne High School in 1972 and attended Northeast Community College to try his hand at drafting. He worked at Feeders Elevator in Wayne for quite sometime and then became interested in driving tractor-trailers, locally and coast to coast. He leased his truck and drove company trucks for TMC and Waldbaums and finished his driving career by hauling large freight such as aircraft engines, leasing to Southern Pride. He enjoyed working in the yard and building projects in the garage and outside. Greg looked forward to coffee, breakfast and conversation at McDonalds with old and new friends. Greg, also loved muscle cars like his 1962 Impala, 1972 Nova and 1963 Corvette and was always checking these out online.
Greg's survivors include: daughter, Lisa (TJ) Wipf, and grandchildren, Phoenix and Dominic of Louisville; daughter, Laura Creamer of Elkhorn; sister, Diane (Kevin) Peters of Wayne; brother, David (Nicole) Creamer of Omaha; nieces; nephews; aunts; cousins and friends.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents Duane and Verna Mae; one brother, Warren (Eunice); grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
