Joyce Ann Creamer

JOYCE ANN CREAMER, age 78, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2026 at The Madison Senior Living Community in London, Ohio.

She was born on March 31, 1947 in Troy, Ohio to the late Carl and Edna (O'Bryant) Eltzroth. She was a graduate of Xenia High School and the Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati. Joyce was a Registered Nurse at Fayette County Memorial Hospital, where she was the Director of Quality Assurance and Risk Management, until she retired. She was a faithful member of the Jeffersonville Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years, sang in the church choir, and led worship. She, along with her late husband Billy, performed in a quartet called the "Broken Chords." She enjoyed being a caregiver, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Billy LeRoy Creamer, whom she married on June 9, 1967; her son, Jonathan Bryant Creamer; sister, Krystal Phillips; parents-in-law, Robert and Leona Creamer; and brother-in-law, Bobby Creamer.

Survivors include her children, Jeff Creamer, Billie (Michael) Maurice, Brandi (Nate) Runnels, and Jacob Creamer; grandchildren, Mitchell (Amanda) Creamer, Macy Creamer, Sterling (Kaily) Maurice, Isaac Maurice, Bryant Runnels, Bo Runnels, Aalayah Scott, and Jordan Creamer; great-grandchildren, Micah Maurice, and Violet Maurice; siblings, Carla (Butch) Wagner, Douglas (Cynthia Newland) Eltzroth, Ted Eltzroth, and Jane Eltzroth; and sisters-in-law, Barbara (Eldon) Howard, and Bonnie (Robert) Klingbeil. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jeffersonville Church of Christ, 83 N. Main St., Jeffersonville, OH 43128, with burial to follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the Church on Wednesday evening from 4-7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
