Nancy M. Morales

1935 - 2025

Nancy M. Morales, 89, Goshen, formerly of Demotte, died 7:55 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Waterford Crossing.

She was born Dec. 16, 1935, in Chicago, Ill., to Casimer and Bridget (Rynne) Koss. She went to Lew Wallace High School in Gary. On Oct. 17, 1959, she married Robert Morales at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, also in Gary.

Nancy was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in De Motte. She had been employed as a nurse's aide at Lake Holiday Manor in Roselawn and as an assembly worker at Schumacher Electric in Rensselaer. She enjoyed gardening, animals and traveled extensively with her husband, Robert.

Surviving are her husband, Robert, Goshen; three children, Monica Ridenour, Goshen, Brian Morales, Indianapolis, Bridgett (Michael) Kilgore, Mooresville; seven grandchildren, Eric Ridenour (Lisa Benzinger), Evan Ridenour, Ethan (Nicole) Ridenour, Nathan Morales, Sadie Kilgore, Jaden Kilgore and Javier Kilgore; and four great-grandchildren, Natalie, Peter, Thérese and Joseph Ridenour.

Preceding her in death are her parents and son-in-law, Nelson Ridenour Jr.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the 1 p.m. service on Wednesday, April 2 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 417 S. Main St., Goshen.

Burial will follow at West Goshen Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Elkhart County Humane Society.
