Deeanne Lasley Obituary

Deeanne Lasley "Ki-ske-na", 60, of Toledo, passed away, Friday, October 10, 2025, at her home under the care of Iowa River Hospice. A Traditional Wake will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Eagle Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement, rural Tama. A Traditional Graveside Service will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Morgan Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement, rural Tama with Larry Lasley Sr. as speaker. Deeanne was born on December 10, 1964, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Howard Dolezal and Lynn Lasley. Deeanne was employed as a supervisor at Packaging Corporation of America in Conrad for sixteen years. Her hobbies included going to the casino, being with family and friends, camping, fishing, and thrifting. Survivors include her children, Jayna Lasley of Marshalltown, Kayla (Ryson Sr.) Morgan of Tama, Robert Morgan of CA, and Korinda Timberwolf of Tama; sixteen grandchildren; brothers, Luke Kapayou, Danny Wabaunasee, Talbert Davenport Jr., Jason (Jennifer) Davenport, Travis (Laura) Davenport, Delbert Davenport all of Tama; sisters, Deneen Lasley of Grinnell, Tamela (Kyle) Davenport of Tama, and Melanie (Chris) Davenport of Tama; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her mother, Lynn Davenport; step-father, Talbert Davenport Sr; grandmother, Kewanee Lasley; brother, Danny Dean Lasley; niece, Charise Lasley; and nephew, Kyaus Davenport.
