Lewis "Jack" Jackie Bilotta Jr age 67 currently of Bellefountaine, MS, died suddenly Saturday, September 6, 2025, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. A celebration of life will take place Saturday September 13, 2025 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Nashua. A second celebration of life will take place at a later date back in Mississippi. Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory – Olson Chapel in Nashua has been entrusted with arrangements. Born on August 7, 1958, in the warm heart of Georgia to Lewis and Mary (Daniels) Bilotta, Jack was a man who carried the spirit of the South in his heart wherever he went. Jack spent his formative years in Cable, Ohio, graduated from high school in North Lewisburg, and planted the seeds of what would become a distinguished career. It was in Ohio that Jack's life would take a fateful turn when he met Sheryl Martin at Honda Manufacturing. Their connection was immediate, and their love story would be one for the ages. The couple married in the scenic town of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, in November 2005, and made their home in West Liberty, Ohio, where they built a life together filled with joy, companionship, and shared dreams. Jack's professional life was marked by dedication and excellence. He spent 28 years at Honda Manufacturing, where he became a respected figure as Assistant Plant Manager, known for his strong work ethic and leadership. His expertise was sought after, leading him to various consulting jobs that benefited from his wealth of knowledge. Later, Jack took on the role of Vice President of Operations at Milwaukee Tool, where for 12 years his strategic vision and guidance contributed significantly to the company's growth and success. Outside the confines of his professional endeavors, Jack was a man of many interests. He found solace in the tranquility of fishing and the thrill of hunting, embodying the true sportsman spirit in competitive coon hunting. Jack's love for the open road was evident as he could spend hours talking about classic cars and rode motorcycles, embracing the freedom and adventure they offered. His hands were skilled not only in the art of carpentry but also in the boxing ring, where he once proudly put Buster Douglas on his back-a tale he recounted with a twinkle in his eye. Jack's home was a testament to his handy work, always bustling with projects that showcased his craft. A master in the kitchen, Jack preferred a home-cooked meal over dining out and was renowned for his BIG steaks and hearty breakfasts. His love for Diet Coke was only surpassed by his love for his family and friends, whom he often gathered around the dinner table. Mentorship was a role Jack took to heart, guiding many through personal and professional challenges with a steady hand and an open heart. His strong faith was the compass that guided his charitable nature, always willing to extend a helping hand to those in need. To describe Jack as loving, generous, and handy is to capture just a glimpse of the man he was. He was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew him, embodying the virtues of kindness and selflessness in every action. Jack is survived by his wife Sheryl Bilotta of Bellefontaine, MS; son Nicholas (Makayla Buckman) Montgomery of Iowa City, IA; daughters: Amber Montgomery of Kilmichael, MS, Cierra Montgomery of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Opal Bilotta of Bellefontaine, MS; siblings: Annette Nobile of Urbana, OH, Jenny (Rhawn) Jackson of Springfield, OH, Taresa (Curtis) Hellums of Roswell, NM, DeDe (Bryant) McConnell of Urbana, OH, and Charles (Becky) Bilotta of Greenwood, MS; mother-in-law Norine Martin of Terre Haute, IN; sister-in-laws: Peggy (Allen) Wefel of Charles City, IA, Linda (Ed Shaw) Martin of Waterloo, IA, Karen (Bobby) Aukes of Bristow, IA, and Joleen (John) Klotz of Terre Haute, IN; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and grandchild Eleanor.
