Maria Ana Puente

Mariana puente was called home into the lords arms on Monday, April 21st 2025 at the age of 76 years old. Maria was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas to Elias and Adela Gonzalez on December 26th, 1948.
Maria was a devoted mother, making a house a home to her 5 children. She volunteered endlessly, to an office clerk at Escobar Jr high to running the Memorial high school athletic booster club as president. In the mid 70s her husband Gregorio Puente and herself devoted their lives to Christ and praised and spread the lords word and in 2002 Gregorio become an ordained pastor and together they worked together endlessly in GCP ministries. Maria Ana Puente is reunited in heaven with her parents Elias and Adela Gonzalez. Her siblings Joe, Elias jr, Jacob, Albert, Theresa, Josie, peter and Paul. She is also reunited with her great grand child Jayden Rene Puente and her loving daughters Janie Martinez and Anna Marie Casanova and she's together again with her late beloved husband Gregorio Puente Sr. Maria is survived by her sons Gregory Puente Jr (Lisa Puente), Donald Puente Sr (Victoria Puente) and Ronald Puente Sr (Chasity Puente) and with 14 grandchildren, with 33 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
A mother's love has no end, a mother's worry has no limit and a mother's sacrifices passes on for generations. Every strong family starts off the back bone of a strong woman. Maria's love and spirit will always live on in the people's lives she's touched. The puente family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers in this difficult time. Importantly thank you Maria Puente for being a very loving Wife, loving mother,loving daughter, loving sister, loving grandmother and a loving friend.
