Jack Humphrey Obituary

Jack Daryl Humphrey 83, of Spokane passed away on October 7th, 2025. Jack was born on June 16, 1942 in Seattle Wa to Rolland Humphrey and Enid Foster. He graduated from Shoreline High School on June 8th, 1960. He joined the Air Force on June 24th, 1960 and was honorably discharged on March 25th, 1964. He started the Washington State Police Academy on August 15th, 1966 and graduated from the Academy on September 29th, 1967. He moved to Spokane Wa in October 1968 where he lived for 17 years before he moved back to the Seattle area. Jack proudly retired in 2002 from the State Patrol and later moved to Phoenix AZ, where he lived until 2021. In 2021 he moved back to Spokane Washington to be near family. Jack enjoyed entertaining his friends and family, spending time at the drag races, and watching Nascar. Jack is survived by his children Jeff Humphrey, Nancy Kimball, and PJ Muxlow all of Spokane Wa, stepdaughters Maire Chacon, Liz Chacon and Lesly Chacon; grandchildren Reece Dunlap, Nicholas Muxlow, Dylan Muxlow and Caden Kimball. A celebration of life will be held on October 23, 2025 at 12:00 pm, at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W Wellesley, Ave, Spokane Wa 99205. Refreshments will be served directly after the service.
