Jaimz Nakia Greene Obituary
Jaimz Nakia Greene (Travis) passed away on January 4, 2025 in Spokane, Washington. Travis blessed his parents, Kristi Daniels and James Greene when he entered this world on January 14, 1995. He is an enrolled member of the Coeur d'Alene Tribe.
Not long after Travis was born, he and his mother Kristi moved to Salem, Oregon. They built cherished memories, with Travis his mom's shadow on the basketball court. He could dribble a basketball by age two, and worked just as hard as the girls Kristi coached. He attended Preschool and Kindergarten at Salem Christian School. When the BIA transferred Kristi to Albuquerque, New Mexico, Travis attended first through third grade at Georgia O'Keefe Elementary, playing basketball, baseball, and football. Another job transfer brought them to Highlands Ranch, Colorado, where Travis became a big brother, loving and protecting Maddison, and later Olivia and Rowdy. He attended Trailblazer Elementary, Ranch View Middle School, and Thunder Ridge High School, adding lacrosse to his list of accomplishments. Travis's passion for sports began at an early age, and from that moment on, his athletic abilities blossomed. Travis was a natural athlete; his determination, skill, and love for the game were evident in every play. He excelled in every sport he pursued. His mother was always incredibly proud of his accomplishments, and his grandfather, Dave, often traveled from Idaho to Denver to watch Travis play, sharing in his successes and cheering him on.
He then moved to Farmington, WA, to live with his Auntie Kerma (Greene) and Uncle Chuck (Petras). He completed his sophomore year at Gar-Pal high school, where he played JV basketball. He eventually decided to get his GED.
Travis worked for various companies in the Lewis-Clark Valley: Home Depot and Fedex. After his son was born, he took a break from work to care for his son. He then went to work for Walmart, Nissan and CCI.
In 2015 he met Rosie Lagmay and they became proud parents of their handsome son Jeremiah Jaimz in November of 2016. It was the start of their young lives together as first time parents. In December they moved into their first home together in the Lewiston Orchards for the next 3 years. In 2019 they moved to Clarkston, Washington. Shortly after his relationship ended with Rosie. But they remained good friends and did a great job of co-parenting Jeremiah. During their time together they would spend time traveling to visit family. They enjoyed doing this as well as trips to the park, beach and going on walks. He was very proud of his son and made sure he had a relationship with his grandma Kristi and great grandparents Dave Daniels and Delrene, Ron and Chet Halfmoon. Although he lived separate from his son, he was his whole world. He was very protective of his son and loved him very much. They would spend their time together taking trips to buy every beyblade or sonic toy. They also enjoyed going to arcades, Chuckie Cheese and still made trips to the park and swimming. Even though this past year they did not spent a lot of time together, he always kept in contact with Rosie and Jeremiah and would always say "I Love you guys!"
Jaimz and Riki met and quickly formed a bond that grew into a beautiful relationship filled with love, friendship, and the joy of blending their families. Over the years, they focused on creating a stable and nurturing home for their boys, sharing countless adventures and unforgettable moments together. Though their romantic journey eventually came to an end, their deep connection endured. They continued to support one another through life's challenges, demonstrating the strength of their bond. The memories they created both with each other and with their boys will be cherished forever. Their time together was a true gift, a testament to the power of love and family.
His kind heart and infectious smile matched Travis's competitive spirit and dedication to his love of sports. He will forever be remembered for the joy he brought to his family and friends. Travis's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Travis was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Dave Daniels and Jeff Greene; his grandmother, Delrene Daniels; and his sister, Rosario Greene.
