Karl Ernst Dallmann

Tribute Our beloved Karl Dallmann known by most as "Papa" passed away peacefully and with family by his side on the morning of June 20, 2023. Karl was born on June 6, 1943 to Adolph and Ruby in Barnsville, Minnesota. He spent his younger years growing up in Oakes North Dakota. After graduating from Oakes High School in 1961, Karl served in the US Navy for four years on the USS Saratoga, and upon his departure from the Navy, he moved to Renton WA in 1969 where he work in the Telco industry for 30 years before retiring. Karl was the husband to Janiece Cranston and father to Shannon, Shelly and David. In 1999, they moved from Renton to Medical Lake WA, which they have called home for over twenty-four years. Karl enjoyed fishing, garage sales, telling stories, and cracking jokes. For many years, he coached youth soccer and little league baseball. He was especially fond of class reunions and enjoyed any opportunity he had to reunite with his former classmates. He is survived by his wife Janiece and children, Shannon, Shelly (+Chawn) and David; seven grandchildren, Kristin, Paige, Jessi, Baileigh Elijah, Reese and Jamison; two great-grandchildren, Karion and Isaac; One sister Alice Hanson and two brothers John and Rich. Karl was preceded in death by his parents and brother Mike. Relatives and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. services will be held at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home: 1315 North Pines Road SpokaneValley, WA 99206.
