Michael Louis Mauget

Michael Louis Mauget, 61, passed away Sept. 27, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and music. Born Oct. 26, 1963, he was the son of Jules Mauget and Irene Krapko, and the stepson of John Krapko - all of whom preceded him in death. Mike was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bob Mauget and Jules Mauget. He is survived by his loving sisters, Neoma Mauget and Christy Shanda; four children, Stephanie Mauget, Aaron Mauget, Cameron Mauget, and Hannah Mauget; and his cherished grandchildren, Sammy Mauget-Seimer, Jeremy Mauget, Olivia Mauget, and Melanie Mauget. Throughout his life, Mike worked in commercial copy machine repair, where his knack for fixing and understanding how things worked shone through. Outside of his career, his true passions were music and tinkering. A lifelong drummer, he could often be found behind a drum set or exploring the inner workings of antique radios and classic cars. His curiosity, creativity, and love for sound left an impression on everyone who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, at Bullhead Saloon in Four Lakes, Wash. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the life of a man who brought rhythm and joy to those around him. Mike will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his humor, his heart, and the steady beat he brought to every moment.
