Paul Brisky Obituary

Obituary of Paul Aaron Brisky Paul Brisky, 59, of St. Maries, ID, passed away unexpectedly on December 3rd, 2023. Paul Brisky was born to Charles and Ellea Brisky in Wenatchee, WA. At an early age he followed what The Apostle Peter taught, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins" (Acts 2:38). In his earlier years, Paul was a member of The Church of God of the Faith of Abraham. He is currently a member of Real Life Ministries in Coeur d' Alene, ID. Paul attended Lewis and Clark grade school, Orchard Jr High, and graduated from Wenatchee High School. He then attended Clover Park Tech in Tacoma WA., excelling in auto repair. When he returned to Wenatchee he worked at various service stations in the area, Miller/Cherry Exxon, Valley North Chevron and more. With his vast knowledge and skills he was employed at Valley Auto Dodge for a number of years as the transmission specialist. He then worked for L&S automotive until he retired from the auto repair business. Paul joined the Wenatchee Police Reserves in 2001, achieving the rank of Officer 1st class. Paul made many lifelong friends in his six years with WPD In June of 2003, Paul met the love of his life, Kristi Whitehall, and they were married August 16, 2008. In September of 2015 Paul, Kristi and his daughter Leila moved to St. Maries, ID to live a more relaxed and peaceful life. In March of 2016 Paul began his employment at ACE Hardware in Saint Maries, working his way up to assistant manager until the time of his death. Paul loved his ACE Hardware co-workers like family. Paul had many hobbies, one of them being go-kart racing, which he participated in for a number of years. He and his family enjoyed camping and fishing with his brothers at Fish Lake, even showing up with their 1973 Winnebago on occasion. He had a passion for food and was an excellent chef. During the summers Paul, Kristi and Leila enjoyed spending time vacationing on the Oregon coast. Anyone who knew Paul knew that he was the most loving father, husband and brother a family could ask for. Paul is predeceased by his father Charles. He is survived by his mother, Ellea, his wife, Kristi, daughter Leila and brothers Dwight (Debbie) and Mark (Laurie), mother in-law, Darlene (Fred) Goins, Sisters in law Kari (Leeman) Williams, and nieces Alexis and Shelby, Marci (Mike) Olmstead, and nephews Michael and Daniel, numerous cousins, his three beloved border collies Rory, Tucker and Jazmine and an abundance of friends. A celebration of life will be held, but information is still pending. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please consider donating to your local food bank. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord".

Paul holds special memories in my life of my time in high school. He rode many times in my trans am. Always a cheerful and a happy spirited guy. Made me laugh and was a very nice person. I am saddened that I never saw Paul again. But I´m sure he remained a good man.
