Susan Bennett

Tribute "Crafty Lady" is beautifying Heaven. (Rev 21:19-21). Susan F. Bennett was born December 21, 1945, in Rochester, New York to Milton and Marion McGuire. She crafted and served others until her body gave out 4 days before her 79th birthday. Sue was blessed with 2 great marriages. First to Richard K. Vrzal for 21 years when they had survivors Scott Vrzal (Laguna Niguel, CA) and Todd Vrzal (San Jose, CA). Sue survived her loving husband of 28 years, a USMC Vet Billy William Bennett who passed July 4th, 2020. Bill Bennett had Michael Bennett (deceased) and Chrystal Bennett (Liberty Lake, WA). She was very proud of her seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sue's brothers are James McGuire in American Samoa and Clifford McGuire in Marin, CA as well as her deceased brother Bruce McGuire of Santa Cruz, CA. She spent long seasons of her life in Palo Alto and San Jose, CA, Gardnerville, NV, and then Liberty Lake, WA. Susan Bennett loved beautifying the world with her fine crafts and artwork. She lived with joy, creativity, and tenacity. She was gifted at empowering others. She bedazzled the fine people of Church of Latter-Day Saints, Anton Peak Ward. We, her survivors, are thankful for the way her Ward loved on her after the loss of Bill. Her favorite charity was The Wounded Warriors. Sue always wanted to go out with a bang, so there will be a service with fireworks in Liberty Lake, WA on May 18th, 2024. Heaven will be a more beautiful place when I get there. In her honor, her survivors encourage you to be confident in your salvation and serve others. We miss Sue greatly, but heaven is now a more beautiful place with the Crafty Lady there.
