James Lyvers Obituary

James Ronald "Jimmy" Lyvers Jr., 62, of Holy Cross, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, at UK Hospital in Lexington. He was born Aug. 16, 1960, in Nelson County. He formerly worked as a truck driver. He honorably served his country in the U. S. Marines.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, James Ronald "Ronnie" Lyvers and Burnita Mae "Nedy" Suiter Lyvers; two siblings, Linda Karen Lyvers and Terry Lee Lyvers.
Survivors include two siblings, Vickie M. Conner (Gene) of Nelson County and David E. Lyvers (Donna Michelle Brown) of Campbellsville; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road in Loretto. The Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate. His burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Visitation is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the funeral home.
Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
