Jo Ann Cornett

Jo Ann Cornett, 62, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at her residence. She was born June 10, 1953, in Elizabethtown to the late Joseph Glennon and Mary Beatrice Rowe Tucker. She was a homemaker, and a loving wife and mother.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Pat Tucker.
Survivors include her husband, Vanzell Cornett; a daughter, Vanessa (Brad) Conder, of Fredericksburg; three sons, Derek Cornett, Darrin Cornett, and Devin Cornett, all of Bardstown; five sisters, Mary Jo Bartley, Linda Jo Linton, both of Bardstown, Betty Jo (Richard) VanDusen, of Texas, Joetta (Tony) Catalano, of Elizabethtown, Donna Jo (Salvador) Astudillo, of Louisville; three brothers, Mike Tucker (Teresa), of Bardstown, Tommy (Pam) Tucker, of Bloomfield, Joe (Deborah) Tucker, of Lexington; and three grandchildren, Haley Hardin, Alera Cornett, and Madison Conder.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road. Mary Jo Kruer, Hospice of Nelson County Chaplin, will officiate. Interment will be in The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at the funeral home.
