John Simpson Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Norma Barnes; and a brother, Marshall Leon Simpson.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Kurk Simpson; his children, Jane (Randall Yates) Simpson and John Walter (Shelvy) Simpson Jr.; grandchildren, Mare' Simpson, Chris (Jennifer) Howell, Mike Howell, Naven Simpson and Michelle Simpson; great-grandchildren, Dustin, Aiden, Baylee, Makayla and Makenzee; a brother, Burnie (Hilda) Simpson; and sisters, Lora (Joe) Downs and Debbie Devine.
The funeral was Thursday, Dec. 30, followed by burial in Highview Cemetery in Bloomfield. He was laid to rest beside his mother per his wishes.
