Lois Glascoe Obituary

Lois Ann Glascoe, 67, Bardstown, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, as result of injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 31E, (Louisville Road). She was a native of Bloomfield, a graduate of McKendre College with a degree in business administration. She was a retired employee of Salt River RECC, a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church where she had served as the church pianist, a member of My Old Kentucky Home Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 436, she was a past worthy matron and was currently the chapter organist. She was an ambassador of Goodwill for the Eastern Star Home, a Kentucky Colonel, and a charter member of the Blooming Red Hat Society.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie Glascoe, her parents; Robert and Dora Hahn of Bloomfield; a sister, Sandra (Henry) Cobble, of Bloomfield; two nephews, Robbie Cobble and Joey (Misty) Cobble, both of Bloomfield; a great-niece and a great-nephew, Mariah Cobble and Logan Cobble, of Bloomfield; and several cousins.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bro. Tom Sparrow, Bro. Leland Parks, and Bro. Earl Pike will officiate.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at Houghlin Funeral Home with an Eastern Star Memorial Service at 7 p.m.
Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
