William Michael Boblitt, Sr. 62, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017. He was the owner and operator of C & B Sales, Inc. He was a fun- loving, caring and generous husband, father, brother, uncle, papa and friend. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Boblitt and Judy Harley; and a sister, Tammy Wininger.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Patty Finn Boblitt; his children, William Mike Boblitt Jr. ( Kristen) and Carly Boblitt; grandchildren, Meredith Boblitt and Will Boblitt; siblings, Karen May (John), Barbara McGarry (Pat), Ann Roettger (John), and Buffy Greenwell (Tom); mother-in-law and Godmother, Marge E. Finn; in-laws, Jamie Finn (Lisa), Ellen Martin (Steve), Mary Reilly (Chris), Amy Potter (Kenny), Dan Finn (Ellen); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 12, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 7335 Southside Drive, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, June 11, at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Drive in Louisville.
Expressions of sympathy are requested to the Parkinson Foundation.
Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

so long big brother. I have such a heavy sadness in my heart because of the way in which you left us, but you are in a much better place now. I will miss all of our Great Conversations about all of the great places you had planned to visit. but you can see them now as you soar above us like an eagle.
