Jamie Lou Conniff

BROWNSVILLE - Jamie Lou Conniff, age 79, of Brownsville, Minn, passed away peacefully with family at her side, on October 8, 2025, at Valley View Healthcare, Houston, Minn.
Jamie was born September 29, 1946, in Elkhorn, Wis., to James and Alice (Scheiefelbein) Evans. She graduated from high school in New Lisbon, Wis., and attended WWTC in LaCrosse, receiving a degree in the Surgical Tech Program. On September 8, 1973, she married Daniel Conniff at St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral in LaCrosse. Dan passed away February 26, 2013.
Jamie was employed at Grandview Hospital and Gundersen Medical Center as a surgical tech. After working there, she worked as a clerk at the Hokah Kwik Trip, retiring in 2000. She was a dedicated stay at home mom, and family time was important to her.
Jamie had a love for reading and animals. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking, word puzzles, cards, family dinners, and attending her grandchildren's activities. She loved hearing her grandson play piano and her granddaughter playing sports. She was a faithful member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Brownsville.
She is survived by her children, Peter Conniff, Richard (Junia) Conniff, and Jennifer (Paul) Krueger; grandchildren, Cameron Williams, Carson Krueger, and Chloe Krueger.
She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Conniff, and parents James and Alice Evans.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Tues. Oct 14, 2025 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Brownsville. Father Andrew Vogel will officiate, a luncheon will follow and burial will be in Calvary, Cemetery, Hokah, Minn. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick's Breza Hall. Visitation will also be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m Tues. before the service at the hall.
