Caroline Joyce Conniff

Caroline Joyce Conniff (nee Mullins) passed peacefully in Lake Mary, Florida on September 25th, 2025 at the age of 83. Joyce is survived by her daughter Jacqueline Elwell of Maryville, TN, son and daughter-in-law Robert Shelton and Kimberly Volmar Shelton of Sanford, FL, grandchildren Frank Elwell III of Maryville, TN, Rachel Elwell of Friendsville, TN, Talia Shelton and Ethan Shelton of Sanford, FL, great grandchildren Linken Earlywine of Naples, FL and Hakoda Furbush of Friendsville, TN and brothers Jim Mullins, Larry Mullins, Rick Mullins and Mike Mullins and sisters Marsha Scholes and Diane Lawson . She is preceded in eternal grace by her husband Gerald Conniff, parents Jack Mullins and Ruth Helton and brother Daniel Mullins. Joyce was born on September 19, 1942 in Knoxville, TN to Jack and Ruth Mullins. She was a Master Seamstress for Levi Strauss. She established a Blessing Box Food Pantry in Friendsville, a food backpack program at the local elementary school, was a member of the local Crafters Group that made blankets for the homeless, quilts for the local hospital, adopted families for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She was giving in a quiet manner and never sought recognition for these significant accomplishments.
