Josie was a special friend & classmate of my sister, Paula. She married our childhood neighbor, Jeff.
She was a wonderful, kind person with a giving heart. She was so proud of her sons, Joe and Casey.
Often she & Jeff visited ‘ Marge’ and Joe, Jeff ‘s parents with her sons.
So amazing that she touched our lives over the past years as neighbors of the Schaller family.

Please accept my sincere condolances on Josies passing. I know my mother(Marian Formanek) always talked about how wonderful a singer she was. I know the Formaneks were so very grateful for her and her Holy Trinity Singers who sang for my mothers funeral. May she rest in peace.

I met Josie back in 1969 when we both attended Aquinas HS-she was a wonderful person, a great singer, and had a great family. I looked forward to seeing Josie at all the reunions, and catching up. I will miss her, and send my deepest sympathies to Sugar and the rest of the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time, but I hope you will remember all the joy she gave to everyone who knew her. God Bless you Josie!

Josie, you sweet angel! We go way back in the day at DO Dental Lab. My first job living in LaCrosse. I’ll never forget you. What fun we had. I’ll never for get your smile and laughter. Always a smile on your face. I used to love running into you at the Clinic. Tears of sadness seeing this, but knowing heaven has another angel to greet the rest❤

It has been many years since I last saw Josie, but I can still hear her perky, peppy voice, & her laugh. Her smile was beautiful!
We both worked at Shelby Mall back in the 80's-90's. I was at Mark Jewellers & she was at Oak Originals. Such a wonderful person! I will never understand why someone like Josie has had to deal with a horrible disease like cancer. She was such a good soul.
Shifty, Joe, & Casey, I am so sorry. May the many beautiful memories you have offer you comfort in the days ahead. Josie touched the lives of many people and will be remembered very fondly. May knowing that also give you some sort of comfort. My heart aches for you.
