Jordan L.M. Peter
Jordan L.M. Peter, 25, of Lacrosse, WI, and longtime Stewartville, MN, resident died on Saturday (June 29, 2024) from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Jordan "JP" Lee Madline and his twin Ethan Madline were born on Oct 1st, 1998, in Rochester, MN, to Joseph and Heather (Fricke) Madline. They were adopted by Jason Peter on November 29th, 2007. Jordan grew up in Stewartville and attended Stewartville schools, graduating from Stewartville HS in 2017. He went on to get an associate degree at Rochester Community Technical College and then attended the University of Wisconsin - Lacrosse. Jordan was employed at the Fairfield Hotel in Lacrosse, WI, in management, and currently was it's General Manager. He excelled at and loved his job and enjoyed working with all the employees there.
Jordan loved spending time with his family, enjoyed golfing, gaming and was a food enthusiast.. He loved his cat Indy beyond measure as well as his friends. When you were his friend, you were his family. He loved you fiercely. He was kind. He was understanding. He was funny and goofy all at the same time. He took pride in everything thing he did, especially his car. Jordan was an amazing son, grandson, brother and uncle and will be deeply missed.
Jordan is survived by his mother and father - Jason and Heather Peter of rural Dexter,MN; cat Indy and siblings - Mercedes "Sadie" Madline and niece – Molleigh and nephew Milo and Chayce (Ashley) Madline of rural Dexter; Ethan of Roland, IA; Kai of Rochester, MN; Lucas and Owen Peter of rural Dexter; Dustin (Jill) Madline of rural Hayfield, MN and Mariah Haglund of Rochester; Grandparents - John Peter (Carol Kettner) of Rice Lake, WI; Margie Fricke of Hayfield; Ed (Lynn) Fricke of Wisconsin and Aunt and Uncle Paul and Jenny Duncan of Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Madline, grandmother Mollie Johnson and his great grandparents.
A memorial service for Jordan will take place at 2:00 PM on Tuesday (July 9, 2024) at Zion Lutheran Church in Stewartville with Rev. Tim Bowman officiating. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday. Arrangements are with Griffin-Gray F.H. in Stewartville.
