Ronald Steffen Obituary

Ronald R. Steffen

June 18, 1948 - October 22, 2024

Ron Steffen was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in Tomah, Wisconsin.

He was born on June 18, 1948, to Don and Helen Steffen in Sparta, Wisconsin.

Ron was a devoted Christian believing in his faith with the Lord.

Ron loved listening to the Beatles and playing his guitar. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Badgers and Brewers. He was also a proud share-holder of McDonald's stock.

Ron was known for his kindness and talking with family and friends.

Ron leaves behind a sister, Mary Ann Steffen Johnson; niece, Dayna (Jason Schmitt); nephew, Rustin and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Helen Steffen.

A Graveside Service was held at the Elroy City Cemetery on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jill Nowlen officiating.

A luncheon followed at the Elroy Methodist Church immediately after.

The family would especially like to thank his long-time life coach, Ruth Wagner and all the caretakers and friends throughout his life for their love and support.

The Picha Funeral Home in Elroy assisted with the arrangements.
