Sally Renstrom Obituary
June 29, 1934 - May 21, 2025
Sally M. Renstrom, 90, of La Crosse, Wisc. died Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Eagle Crest South. She was born June 29, 1934 to Julius and Clara (Young) Platz. She married Gerald Renstrom on October 16, 1954.
She is survived by daughter, Julie (Frank) Moldenhauer; sons, Joel (Denise) Renstrom and Jim (Lisa) Renstrom; grandchildren, Nick, Dan, Rob, Alexa, Sam and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, two brothers and many friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Tucker; grandsonm Peter Renstrom; sisterm Shirley Pretasky; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, 2006 Weston St., La Crosse. Rev. Brian D. Konopa will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Private burial will take place at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Mary, Mother of the Church or the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Dear Sally. This amazing couple were our neighbors in our first years of marriage. We have so many memories.. Sally giving Swede directions for parking their camper and running into the obstacles..garage,fence , house. Then later we would sit out and share a beer. Julie was our first babysitter and our son Brian loved her so. Joel was in high school and Jimmy was so very good to Brian ...even though he usually was late coming home on his bike. Wonderful family. We hold so dear to our hearts. I made it a point to visit Sally a few years ago and it was down memory lane for both of us. God bless the beautiful lady, and her children. Have fun catching up with Swede dear friend
