I have known Bill since I was 14 (I'm now 57). He was always a joy to be around as he had many funny stories and jokes to tell. We even played trumpets together a few times. I remember him playing a huge bass fiddle in church too. Those were awesome times. Though he was old enough to be my father I always considered him to be a close friend and I miss him.

Although we had not spoken in years, I thought of Bill often and fondly remember the many hours we spent talking together and what a good friend he was, much better than I was. I knew this day would come and yet I'm saddened and surprised by Bill's passing because it seemed as though he would always be here.
He was a good man with an easy laugh and a big heart and I loved him. My condolences to Donna, Ken, and Matt and all of Bill's family.

Donna and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I got to know Bill from when Donna and I worked together at Bridgeman's. Bill always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. You are all in my thoughts and prayers-take care!

Bill was an easy friend to get along with. At times he was quiet and you did not notice him around. However, when Bill had something to say he was bold and let his point of view be known. I look forward to seeing my classmate when I pass over into eternity with Jesus. May the family continue with comfort and peace of heart knowing that Jesus will welcome him and comfort him.
