Al Rusk Obituary

RUSK JR. A resident of Simi Valley passed away Friday, September 19, 2008 after a battle with cancer. After a work injury, he retired from the Kern County Sheriff's a Department. He went on to be hired by the Teamsters Local 399 doing television and feature films and for the past six years has worked for Warner Brothers as the transportation co-captain on the tv show "Without A Trace". Al is survived and loved by wife, Esther Ramirez; daughter, Lindsey Rusk; sons , Brandon and Casey Kiefer; sister, Gabrielle Lampert; brothers, John and Brian Rusk; and all of his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008, 11:00 a.m., at the Cornerstone Church in Simi Valley. I'm sorry to hear that Al is gone. I enjoyed being on the TOHS tennis team with him and seeing him at youth events at First Christian Church. Anyone that knew him would certainly not forget such a great guy.
