Darlene Selbrede Obituary

DARLENE VALERIE SELBREDE (nee HALL) Passed away January 24, 2005. She is survived by husband, Martin Selbrede and his children, Charity, Christian, Cord, and Chase, the last three of which she raised since 2001. She is also survived by her father, George R. Hall II, and mother, Lana M. Bittner, of Cleveland, Ohio, and her siblings: Stephen M. Robinson, Albe rt P. Hall, George R. Hall III, and sisters Charlene M. Woodrow, Elizabeth A. Hall, and Colleen P. Hall, and grandmother Anna V. Hall, as well as nephews and nieces Daniel J. Woodrow Jr. and Christian R. Woodrow, sons of Charlene and Dan Woodrow, and George R. Hall IV and Lauren Hall, children of George III and Carrie Hall. Born August 18, 1965, Darlene was a natural musician and technologist, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University, Phi Kappa Theta. She married Martin in 1998 and became the w ebmaster for the Chalcedon Foundation, her consuming passion. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Chalcedon. Send checks made out to "Chalcedon", with "Darlene Selbrede Memorial Fund" on the memo line, to Chalcedon, PO Box 158, Vallecito, CA 95251, or donate on-line at www.chalcedon.edu under the Support Chalcedon tab.

I'll love Darlene forever....I'm sure everyone will. Please pray for the family...especially my dad (Martin) and my three younger brothers (Christian, Cord, and Chase). We ALL miss her a lot.
