David Alvarez Obituary

DAVID MAX ALVAREZ Passed away on March 1, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born April 9, 1955 in San Fernando, California, David formerly of Pacoima/Arleta, resided in North Las Vegas since 1995. He served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War. He retired after nearly 30 years as a Medical Administrative Officer with the Veteran's Hospital in Sepulv eda, California and most recently the Mike O'Callahan Federal Hospital in Las Vegas. He was the beloved son of Max (deceased) and Antonia Alvarez; his sisters are Martha, Rosalie and Irene. He is survived by his wife Rosa, children Josue, Jason, Lizette, and David; and several grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 6 and 7 at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary.

We are deeply saddened that our only brother passed away at such a young age. We will miss him greatly but we are at peace knowing that his many health problems will not longer plague him and that he is at rest. He was a devoted family man who cared very much for his family's well being. God Bless You David!
