David A. Dalby

1951 - 2014

Born in Vallejo California and long time resident of Rancho Cucamonga. He was the youngest of four and is survived by his wife Linda of 37 years, his daughter Erin, son Leland and grandchildren Elijah and Chase. He is also survived by his older brother Tom Dalby. He was in a rare coin collecting club, played the saxophone by ear, enjoyed bike riding, working on his car, and was a history buff; particularly the Civil War. He volunteered his time as an umpire for little league and loved his San Francisco Giants. He was the first class president of Solano Community College in Fairfield and earned a Masters degree in Political Science at San Francisco State. He touched everyone who knew him, as he is remembered for his sense of humor, compassion for others, his work ethic, and positive outlook on life.

The family would like to thank Dad's many friends, family, and co-workers for their support and encouragement during this healing process.
