Nicest person met Ed when he was doing a small welding job for my Father. My dad knew Ed from the Nest. He will be missed.

I was introduced to "Red China" through a friend "Hijack". It was the best introduction to a new found friend, anyone could ask for.
Ed was the greatest! When we got together, it was always a day to remember. I will cherish those days, until we meet again.

Eddie,it had been a while since I last saw you. I just want you to know that your influence on my life has been dramatic. When I got outta the recovery house with no where to go,you took me in. Introduced me to Unit A and the Nest. You touched so many lives, and you will be missed. I guess God needed someone to give driving lessons!!!
God Bless you. And Fritzi,Ed loved you beyond words.

Ed I remember you the day I first met you.I thought you were one of the toughest men I had ever met .but you know what? I stayed sober and your words of wisdom have stayed with me even to this day. I love you and Fritzi your soulmate..you both are so special in my heart! I love the times you and Fritzi would meet me for ice cream and we let our 3 year olds out..you were always the oldest of us kids! I can see you now riding Liberty up there amongst the skies of glorious heaven..with that smile on your face. Remember how we use to talk about the different sounds of a motorcycle..that each one has it's own unique sound when it idles? You taught me a lot! What a great teacher you were! I will miss you terribly! You sure are looking good! I know I will see you again one day! Signing off...Love you..Cherie'

What can you say about a man who has touched so very many lives. I'll never forget the first time we met in 95 at The Nest...you were barking out instructions to have court cards signed. And when I called you and told you I had a new boyfriend in 2001, and that you had to meet him and approve or I wouldn't keep him.. You and Rick became instant buddies; joined at the hip, so they said, for almost 3 years. I'll miss you greatly, all the Harley shirts, the eagles and the knives and swords...and especially the black scuff marks on my kitchen floor. Rest in peace darling. A tremendous loss for humankind and a magnificent angel for God. I'll love you forever. "Yeah, you're lookin' good too!"

My Brother Ed,
You were the one that stuck out your hand and showed me the way almost 19 years ago. If you had not been there for me in the beginning, I would not be here today. You always spoke the truth to me and I never doubted you for a second.............ever. I will miss you terribly my dear Friend, but if anyone in this world has gone to a better place, it would be you Ed. We rode many a mile together and I will ride many more in your honor. Goodbye old Friend.

I will *never* forget sitting with Ed at the Nest discussing his point of view on Sponsors..how sincere and lovingly he explained it to me. I always knew that when I was in a meeting with Ed I was going to hear something that was thought provoking. His humor and hugs will be missed by one and all.
I know Ed will be watching over his family and friends, especially his soulmate, Fritzi.

Two Clubs together- Thousands of miles and cups cups of coffee - flipping our false teeth out at civilians on a run - millions of meetings & loads of laughs- late night discussions about THE GOV'T - and I'm just sitting here scratching the head of my dog "Schwartz", whose name you picked out. I will miss you China - you were one of a kind. All of my L and R "Two Piece"

Bro..You lived by these standards..and they remain within each of us forever..you touched so many lives and I remain proud to have called you my brother! May you now rest in peace with the Lord..for we know you aren't gone, just a dimension away...like we talked about in July '05 when you went on the run in the rig with me!I will always hold our private time together, so very close to my heart..even tho there were no Starbucks where we went..you held in there and drank all that nasty 40 weight truck stop coffee anyway!
I Love You Bro! Rest in Peace!

Dearest Uncle Eddie,
Thank you for being such an inspiration to Mom & being there for her Memorial & helping make it possible. Now you know that she too was there with you & i'm sure that she was already preserving your "Special Place", for you to come back home with her & with a "Great Big Smile", on her face! You had such nice thing's to say at Mom's Memorial in the speech that you gave! Now that the two of you are once together again, with eachother & with our Gracious Lord, we now have another protector! may God Bless You & Peace & Fun be with you as you rest.
love,
Patti

Ed- You always knew how to make me smile, laugh and enjoy the simplicities of life... coffee, cigarettes and stories with a great friend. I met you the day after my dad passed away almost 3 years ago, and I dont think a week has gone by that I havent sat and had coffee with you and talked about life, and all that comes with it. I dont think you will ever realize how much you have helped me by being such a bright star in my life over the last 3 years! Thank you so very much. You will be miss greatly, Starbucks will never be the same. Thank you for all of the stories and wisdom. I will never forget you! I know you will watch over us always... and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Love, Katie Haley (Sunshine)

You will be missed. Was glad we had the family reunion. The 30 years it was from last time we saw you was to long. God only knows why we lost contact. At least we had a few days together. I will make sure you get to rest on the land we all grew up on. And now you have gone to a better place. You are so lucky to be back with two of the greatest people that took us into their house. Grandma and Grandpa. Love you always
