Edward Schrody Obituary

EDWARD F. SCHRODY Age 60, of Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away October 13, 2006. He was born October 16, 1945 to George and Gertrude Schrody. He came to the area one year ago from Canoga Park, California, where he lived for over 30 years. Mr. Schrody was a business agent in the construction field and was a former Union Representative for the Carpenter's Union Local 1506, Los Angeles, California. Edward also enjoyed photography. Survivors include his loving daughter, Cassandra Cox of Tarzana, CA; son, whom he was very proud of, Erik Schrody, better known by his stage name, Everlast; m other, Gertrude Schrody of Bonita Springs, FL; sister, Joann (Charles) Romano of Naples, FL; brothers, George (Teddy) Schrody of Northport, FL and Daniel (Kathy) Schrody of Sun City, AZ; and grandchildren, Jessica, Aaron and Donovan. His father, George Schrody; sister, Patricia Parker; and brother, Joseph Schrody, preceded him in death. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 7:00 PM at Walter Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Tr. S., Bonita Springs, FL. Friends will be received an hour prior to service time. Memorial contributions in Edward's name are suggested to the American Diabetes Association, 4902 Eisenhower Blvd., Suite 295, Tampa, FL 33634 or the American Heart Association, PO Box 21475, St. Petersburg, FL 33742.
