Preceded by dearest mom, Leonor. Survived by dad, Jerry; sister, KatRyn; nieces, Steffanie, Deanna and Amber; nephew, Brandon; budgie, Bella; and beloved Pomeranian , Foxy.
Public Funeral/Graveside services October 29, 2011, 10:00 a.m., at POP Lutheran Church, 9440 Balboa Blvd., Northridge, CA 91325. (Crawford Mortuary directors 818- 341-1427)

I JUST saw this!!!! I'M devastated!!!!! I'M SO sorry for your loss!!!! OMG!!! Julia was my good friend when I was twenty one. I'm so sorry!!! This thought comes 6 years too late as I just now came across her obit. For some reason I was just thinking about her. To anyone who reads this I just want to say how special she was. My first wife(who passed in 1997) worked with Julia and we all became friends for 10+ years. I remember going to her family's home in Woodland Hills often for parties, swimming, to hang out, etc. I last saw her about 10 years ago at a Ralph's market. I am really saddened to hear this news--late as it is for me. She was so friendly, warm and creative and always made people around her feel special. I will miss her.

I met Julia( Julie) when we both about 20 years old in a running class. We spent a lot of time together for about a decade. She was a bridesmaid in our wedding. I lost contact with her and didn't realize she was gone. I am shocked. I often talked about her fondly to my daughters, as I have a daughter who is an actress. She was super funny, and she had a sweet spirit. I never had a disagreement with her. I remember her playing the cello. I remember her being so proud of her sister, Kathy's children.
I feel so sad about this news and would have been there for her, if I knew she needed anything. I only heard from her sporadically after I married. It is so sad.
My condolences to her sister and her family.

My dear friend Julia, one of the most beautiful and kind hearted women I have ever known. I met Julia in 1990. We shared a passion for acting and had a love for Marilyn Monroe. Julia was amazingly talented, her beauty and light shined light a beautiful star! Heaven has a beautiful Angel now, who is Forever in our hearts . Miss you Julia "Bunny"

Hey Julia, You were a great friend to my Wife, Dania and I always wanted to thank you for that. Thank you for the great Tamales, I wish they could have been bigger and for the wonderful Chicken Enchiladas and early morning breakfast Mac Muffins. You were always tring to feed me. I am shocked to read this. I hadn't seen Julia for 30 years but I thought of her quite often and wondered how she was. Saddened to the core. I will continue to miss her dearly.
