Kimberly Blake Zander

NDER, KIMBERLY KIMBERLY BLAKE ZANDER Age 34. Born June 10, 1972; passed away December 29, 2006, after a courageous and valiant two and a half year battle with metastatic breast cancer. Kimberly was adored, admired and beloved by her family and many friends. She was an inspirational figure who always looked for and brought out the best in people. Kimberly grew up in Encino, California. She attended and graduated from Birmingham High School, where she was head cheerleader and homecoming queen. After high school, Kimberly attended California State University, Northridge for one year and then studied in Italy for three years, whereby she became fluent in Italian. She finished her higher education at Loyola-Marymount University, Los Angeles, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in International Studies. Kimberly lived in New York City for five years. It was a city that she loved very much. All who knew Kimberly loved her for her eternal optimism, love of life and her charitab le nature. She will be deeply missed but will always be remembered for her radiant smile and loving nature. Kimberly is survived by her mother, Barbara Ceazan; step-father, Gary Ceazan; brother, Brian Zander; sisters, Evienne and Genevieve Zander; and aunt and uncle, Nancy and Steven Rubin. Services to be held Wednesday, January 3, 2007, 1:00 p.m., at Hillside Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
