Ruth Detweiler

RUTH L. DETWEILER Beloved sister and aunt passed away on April 14, 2008, at her home in North Hollywood. She was 99. Ruth was a long time resident of the Burbank and Glendale area. Ruth was devoted to her family and friends. She was a kind, loving, supportive and energetic woman; and always on the lookout for a new adventure. She will be missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her brothers, Leland and Glen Detweiler; her sisters, Lois Lannom and Bea Gaither; and niece, Jackie Andrews. Ruth is survived by her nephews, Ron Andrews (Jackie), Byron (Pat) Gaither and Les Detweiler; nieces, Sharon Kent, Luellen (Tom) Best, Janice (Tony) Orr and Karen (Steve) Lovas; 13 great nephews and nieces, and 23 great great nephews and nieces. Services will be held at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Monday, April 21, 2008, at noon.
