I just found out about this tradegy. I went to high school with Nikki and played JV Basketball with her for St. Joseph. I always remember her smile and how sweet she was to everyone. I will keep Nikki and Tim's family in our prayers. May they rest in peace. God bless.

OMG! Claudia, is this you ? I could not believe what I was reading when I went searching for you on FB! I AM SO SORRY! What a tradegy! Les and I divorced in 2006 and he remarried right away and now is divorced AGAIN! I live in TN for the past 4 years. If you want please look me up on FB and we can share some past memories. Our son Ray now lives in GA with his father while he is back in school, He just moved there from CA 3 weeks ago. Real Estate market dropped and Ray saw no other solution but to go back to school.

As a fellow Skywest captain and coworker of Tim, I would like to say that he was one of the most positive and enjoyable people I ever worked with. I was shocked when I heard what had happened and am so sorry to both Tim and Nicole's families and wish you the very best during this incredibly difficult time. It seems like yesterday when I had the pleasure to introduce you both to one another back in 71. Although our paths have crossed during these past many years the times were to far between. Through all this time you both and Mama B. have always greeted me as one of your own. When I learned the sad and tragic news of Timothy and Nikki I felt my heart stop with sadness and sorrow, but could not imagine the grief you both have experienced. With your combined strength and love of God and his decision to take these two beautiful loving children I know you both will find strength through each other. Thinking of you all with our deepest sympathy... We were all stunned and grief-stricken to have heard of the loss of dear sweet Nikki and her husband Timothy. Our family will always remember Nikki from the times we spent with her in Basketball; first as a little one when Linden coached Nikki in 5th grade and then again later on in high school when our Lauren and Nikki played Basketball together @ St. Joe's. Mary Francis Symonds is visiting her family here in Massachusetts and called to let me know of your unimaginable loss.
We met just last week for lunch, and were reminiscing about the old days, our "Friendly Skies" flying partners, and their kids. Mary filled me in on everyone which meant that your name, of course, came up. We agreed how proud you both must be of Tim's successes, in both his personal and professional life, and how lucky you are to have such a close relationship, now that he's happily married to the lovely Nicole. That was on Monday the 19th.
We were both devastated to hear about
the tragic accident and send you our deepest sympathies. We're sorry we can't be there in person to support you, but do know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We hope your many local friends and relatives will bring you comfort in your time of need.

I first met Tim in 2000 while he was building flight time out of San Luis Obispo. Realizing what a nice guy and great pilot he was, I did what I could to help him get hired at SkyWest Airlines. In 2005 we reconnected with Tim, and Nicole when my wife and I moved to Paso Robles. Not only did we continue to have fun in aviation, but we also shared a love for waterskiing and wakeboarding at Lake Nacimiento. We would go out skiing together in the middle of winter when everyone else thought we were crazy. Tim was always fun to talk to because I was always curious about what his next adventure would be~ motorcycle racing, fly-fishing, hunting, or going on buying trips with Nicole. The times we spent with Nicole dining or out on the lake, or shopping at Divine, left us impressed with who she was. To pursue such dreams at such a young age, and to do it with such grace! She never drew attention to herself and yet she was so special, we just naturally wanted to pay attention to her. They were a sweet couple ~ we will truly miss them. I had the privledge to have been Tim's Freshman and J.V. Football Coach at Chaminade. Tim was such an outstanding young man. Like all the boys from that team, Tim was driven and focused. Yet he knew how to have fun as well as work hard! I know his parents were always there to support him. My prayers are for them and the parents of his wife's family. My sincere condolences to all!

Flying with Tim was a pleasure. His willingness to learn and ask many questions showed he had a love for flying. We had many memorable trips flying throughout the country from Kansas City to Illinois, Minnesota, Washington even Canada. We would go fly fishing on some of our trips or check out the local motorcycle shops. One Minnesota trip we went canoeing, took a ride in a Piper Cub on floats and rented a Cessna 172 so we could land on some of the numerous grass strips in the area just for fun.
Tim would stop by the Paso Robles Airport and give a hand pushing planes in and out of the hangar or do whatever was needed. When time and weather allowed we would get away just to fly some cool vintage airplanes and have a ball.
Tim and Nicole will be missed by myself and Monica. Our condolences go out to both families.

I taught at St. Joseph's High 1995-6, and helped planned the Senior Mass. I remember Father Tom saying, "Remember Jesus is your bud, your best friend." Dear Buzz and Sandy,
It seems so ironic. This morning I was reading a new message in my son's Guest Book; this evening, I'm adding a new message in your daughter's! What a horrible and tragic loss! Please know you both, along with the rest of yours and Tim's family, have my heartfelt sympathy. The loss of a child is like no other, there is nothing that can compare, it is so heartbreaking.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers and I will ask God to help you stay strong in your faith and with your memories of your beautiful girl. You KNOW He must have had a special plan to have called up your Mom, Buzz, just before taking up Nikki and Tim! You're not "privy" to it yet, but just writing it here, puts a smile on my face and erases the tears for a short while.
Please call me if there is ANYTHING at all Doug & I can do; we go back along way to being high school grads together and all the Class Reunions, and now we both share the horrific loss of a child. That's what friends are for.

I was a flight attendant and worked with Tim when we were based in Chicago. We were the Italian, Californians trying to brave 20 degree weather in jeans and flip flops. He was a joy to be around and everyone's favorite Captain. I will miss him dearly and my thoughts and prayers go out to the Eyler and Bomicino familes.

I flew with Tim when I was a First Officer in Chicago in 2006. He was one of the easiest guys to get along with, and I still remember the four day trip we were on. I only hope I could have the same impact on people after only knowing them for four days as he did. I am sorry for your loss. A truly great guy.
