William Lewis Obituary
81, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at his home in San Bernardino. He was born on March 18, 1938 in San Bernardino to John and Elizabeth Lewis. William remained a permanent resident of his hometown.
William married Faye on November 11, 1960 in San Bernardino. Faye had two daughters, Debra Stoll and Cynthia Allen from a previous marriage. They had one son together, Tab W. Lewis. William was a loving father to both daughters and son. He and Faye were happily married, their love was everlasting. In 1976 at age 42, Faye Lewis died leaving behind her loving husband and 3 children. William never remarried again, remaining forever faithful. Keeping Faye in his heart forever as his first and only love.
Known as Bill to his friends, Mr. Lewis was a very successful business man and entrepreneur. He built several business from the ground up to become major contributors to the local economy. As Chief Executive Officer of Inland Electric Company of San Bernardino he managed over 100 employees within a few years. He also was CEO of Silverlake Homes, he built more than a hundred apartment units in the San Bernardino County. Bill built and owned the popular Huk Finn's Coffee Shop Restaurant in Bishop for years. His management style and professionalism made his place a favorite of California travelers.
Mr. Lewis loved people and was loved by his employees and customers. He had a heart of gold. Everything he worked for was for his family. He was very generous, giving to many charities and to those in need. Bill touched every soul that crossed his path imprinting the lives of all. Bill will forever be remembered and eternally cherished.
Survivors include his son Tab W. Lewis of Las Vegas, NV; two daughters, Debra Stoll of Phoenix, AZ and Cynthia Allen of Apple Valley, CA; and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be held at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery, 570 E Highland Ave., San Bernardino, CA 92404 on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 12:00pm. Please visit William's memorial website at

Dad, it has been six weeks since you went to be with Mom. I love you Dad and miss the tender moments we had. You were always there for me when I needed anything. You never questioned me. You lent me your shoulder and listened. I am proud to be your daughter. Until we meet again. Keep that lighthouse light burning for me.

Hi Dad, it has been six weeks since you left us to be with Mom. I didn't get to say good bye. I miss you so much! I miss the tender moments we had. The advice you would give me. How you would gently lift me up and show me how much you truly loved me. You were my lighthouse Dad, you always kept that light burning for me so I could see my way through the storms. Never once did you look down at me. You were always proud of my accomplishments. Dad I know in my heart you considered Cindie and I your daughters. There aren't too many men that would take in a woman and adopt her daughters as their own. I was proud to become your daughter in the court room that day. Grandpa,
I will miss you more than words can say. I know my tears are for me, because I cannot see you. You were there for so long,
I never thought you would leave. I know you are a beautiful angel as you were here on earth. Say hello to grandma, and give her a hug and kiss from her ladybug. Thank you for enriching my life, and advice you have given us through the years. I will miss having muffins, coconut pie and coffee together. I will miss the hugs and kisses.
